The Farmington Business Council, a division of the Chamber of Commerce, is looking for supporters to purchase its "Gateway Project" bricks at the intersection of Routes 332 and 96. The goal is to create a more village-like feel for the community's main intersection with the addition of a clock, seating and landscaping. View resolutions prior to vote

In compliance with a new New York State law, the Town of Farmington has started posting resolutions to be considered by various boards prior to meeting dates. Now citizens will have the opportunity to see what their local government is considering in advance of a vote. The resolutions, whenever possible, will be posted at least one business day prior to a meeting; they will be in draft form and are subject to change. To see the Town Board's resolutions, click "Meetings/Agendas/Minutes" to the left on this page.

Boom Town Census numbers show Farmington is among the fastest growing communities in the region, with a population increase of over 1,200 in 10 years. Click on the above link to learn more.

Town Clerk's Office open Wednesday evenings

Town Clerk Michelle Finley has expanded her office’s business hours for the convenience of local residents.

The Town Clerk’s Office is open from 8 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. The extra hours on Wednesdays are especially geared for those who’ve found it tough to get to the Town Hall in the past, whether it’s because of work or other daytime commitments.

And the expanded hours are not just for dog licenses: Finley and her Deputy Town Clerks, Sarah Mitchell and Jennifer Goodell, will also be on hand to assist with marriage licenses, handicapped parking permits, hunting licenses and all other matters they normally attend to.

Anyone with questions may contact Finley at (315) 986-8100.
